Led by Dr. Nagendra Nagaraja, PhD(Founder, CEO and Chairman of Board), Dr. Manjunath R V, PhD(VP of Quantum Hardware and Research), Lakshya Priyadarshi(Vice President of Quantum Platforms and Solutions), Ashwanth Krishnan(Vice President of Software Products), Sachin Kumar(Vice President of AI Platforms and Solutions), Swati Kumari(Vice President of Operations), Chandan Kar Sharma(Vice President of Finance), Kanishka Agiwal(Vice President of Sales), Dr. Arpit Jain(Director of AI Projects & Education), and Dr. Amlan Mukherjee, PhD(Principal Scientist), QpiAI has raised $32 Million in Series A co-led by National Quantum Mission alongside Avataar Ventures, at a post-money valuation of $162 million.
India’s National Quantum Mission (NQM) is a flagship initiative launched by the Government of India in April 2023, aimed at developing and scaling indigenous quantum technology capabilities.
QpiAI developed India’s first full-stack 25‑qubit superconducting quantum computer (QpiAI‑Indus), launched in April 2025, aims to scale to a 64‑qubit system by late 2026, with a roadmap toward 100 logical qubits by 2030. QpiAI-Indus focuses on integrating AI and Quantum Computing for applications in materials science, drug discovery, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, aerospace, finance, and energy.
With the new funding, QpiAI is set to expand into markets like Singapore and the Middle East, while also investing in local manufacturing and scaling efforts to develop a 100-logical qubit system by 2030.
