Nara Organics, led by Esther Hallam(Founder and CEO), Justina Chiang(COO), Meika Hollender(Chief Marketing Officer), Emily Elyachar(Head Of Finance), and Whitney Jacoby(Director of Product), launched an in-house developed organic, whole-milk infant formula from scratch, with the help of scientists and pediatric nutritionists. Nara has secured a total of $32 million from AlleyCorp, BBG Ventures, Corazon Ventures, Gingerbread Capital, and Torch Capital.

Many infant formulas contain corn syrup, palm oil, and soy, which aren't recommended due to several risks to the child's health. Nara Organics, which meets both European and U.S. safety standards, and is FDA-registered and USDA-certified, is free from palm oil, soy, corn syrup, maltodextrin, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

Nara Organics prefers to have its products manufactured in Germany by a manufacturer having a facility that doesn't let oxygen get into the product while filling, canning, and sealing the can.

As part of its launch, the company is donating 1,400 cans of infant formula to the Good+Foundation. The products are available for purchase through its website on a one-time purchase and a subscription-based model.
