Heaviside Industries, a builder of multi-domain precision munitions platforms, announced a strategic partnership with Nammo, a global leader in ammunition, alongside a $60 million Series B financing. Felicis led the round with significant participation from Hedosophia and additional participation from Menlo Ventures, Cantos, Flume Ventures, Qstar Capital, Friends & Family Capital, Anorak Ventures, MVP Ventures, and others. Raised three months after the company emerged from stealth, the financing values Heaviside at $600 million.

In defense, proven experience and reputation are critical. Heaviside combines deep operational expertise with Nammo’s established supply chain to create a scalable system capable of meeting the demanding requirements of defense forces.

The Series B will support Heaviside’s expansion and delivery of autonomous capabilities to U.S. and allied forces.

— Jake Storm, General Partner, Felicis

Under the partnership, Nammo will supply warheads for Heaviside’s multi-domain precision munitions platforms, providing an established supply chain and manufacturing capacity.

The collaboration aims to deliver unmanned munitions systems with greater mission flexibility, scalability, and lethality.

The partnership with Nammo expands Heaviside’s ability to deliver integrated, cost-effective precision munitions at scale.

Combined with the recent Series B financing, the partnership is expected to accelerate production and deployment of Heaviside’s precision strike systems to U.S. and allied customers.

— Phillip Walker, Chief Executive Officer, Heaviside

Heaviside will use the Series B funding to expand production capacity, accelerate hiring, fulfill existing customer commitments, and meet future demand.

With facilities in Los Angeles and Oslo, the company plans to expand its U.S. operational footprint and build the infrastructure and workforce required for high-volume production of its multi-domain precision munitions platforms.
