Hadrian, the advanced manufacturing company building highly automated factories for America, led by Chris Power and the team, has announced $1.37 billion in new equity financing co-led by WCM Investment Management, Washington Harbour Partners, Valor Equity Partners, 137 Ventures, and Baillie Gifford. JPMorganChase's Strategic Investment Group joined as anchor co-lead, investing through the firm's Security and Resiliency Initiative, a program dedicated to strengthening the industries critical to national and economic security. The round also included major participation by 1789 Capital, as well as participation from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, funds managed by Apollo, accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., CapitalG, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, Lux Capital, Altimeter, Construct Capital, and existing investors.

The financing will support new factories, expanded R&D, and additional production capabilities as Hadrian builds the industrial infrastructure needed to deliver mission-critical systems at greater speed and scale. With demand for trusted U.S. manufacturing capacity continuing to outpace supply, the investment will expand Hadrian’s AI-powered production network and strengthen domestic manufacturing capacity.

The capital will accelerate Hadrian’s expansion from precision components to complete mission-critical systems. Its “Factories-as-a-Service” model enables rapid production scaling across munitions, shipbuilding, and other high-priority programs.

Chris Power, founder and CEO of Hadrian, said manufacturing capacity has become increasingly central to national deterrence, with U.S. competitiveness depending on the ability to build, train, and scale more rapidly. The financing will support Hadrian’s expansion of its “Factories of the Future,” new mission-critical production capabilities, and investment in the technicians and engineers needed to strengthen the U.S. industrial base.

Since its Series C financing 12 months ago, Hadrian has rapidly expanded its manufacturing footprint and capabilities. New factories in Mesa, Arizona, and Muscle Shoals, Alabama, have brought the company’s footprint to nearly 3 million square feet across four sites. Over the next year, Hadrian plans to open additional factories and expand into new production lines, including munitions and autonomous systems, strengthening its manufacturing platform for high-priority programs.

Hadrian is also developing a new workforce model for U.S. manufacturing, hiring and training operators, engineers and technologists to work in highly automated factories that combine software, robotics and human expertise. As the company expands, it is increasing production capacity while broadening access to technician equity, giving manufacturing workers a direct stake in the company’s growth.

Together with its growing network of industrial partners, Hadrian is using the Series D financing to expand the factories, production capabilities and workforce needed to deliver mission-critical systems at scale and strengthen the U.S. manufacturing ecosystem.
