EdSights, the first AI-powered student voice platform, led by Claudia Recchi and Carolina Recchi, has secured $80 million from JMI Equity.

EdSights partners with over 240 colleges and universities across the U.S., using a proprietary approach to identify students at risk of dropping out and provide targeted support. By putting the student voice at the center, EdSights helps institutions improve engagement, boost retention, and increase degree completion rates nationwide.

EdSights uses AI and personalized SMS communications to proactively engage students, turning their interactions into real-time insights on challenges like mental health and financial stress. These insights enable institutions to deliver targeted interventions, improving retention and transforming how colleges support students. Millions of conversations to date show engagement and opt-in rates well above the industry average.

EdSights partners with a wide range of higher education institutions, from large public universities to private colleges and community colleges, including Southern New Hampshire University, University of Missouri, University of Hawaii System, Oklahoma State University, and College of Charleston. The company plans to use its latest investment to enhance its platform and expand its team, helping institutions nationwide support student persistence and success.
