Designed to restore the region’s historic R&D-to-production loop, it aims to bring high-tech manufacturing back home and accelerate innovation in sectors like robotics, aerospace, and semiconductors.
As offshoring slowed iteration and weakened supply chains, Solano Foundry offers a local solution, enabling faster development, IP protection, and strategic industry growth. Its proximity to the planned Solano Shipyard and Travis Air Force Base adds key national security and workforce advantages, making it a blueprint for America’s industrial resurgence.
Solano Foundry will be the largest advanced manufacturing park in the U.S., purpose-built for high-growth sectors like robotics, energy, defense, and advanced transportation. It offers 90-day permitting, scalable infrastructure, and co-location with a proposed new city of 150,000 homes.
Key features include over 2 GW of on-site power, 5,000 GWh of battery storage, freight-rail links, and an ecosystem designed for collaboration between startups, capital, and talent. A new JLL study names Solano Foundry California’s best bet to revive its manufacturing edge, projecting 40,000 jobs and billions in economic impact.
