BiMA, a projector that transforms children's rooms into infinite, atmospheric worlds, led by Greta G and Larissa Ruf, has secured €500,000 in pre-seed funding, led by Antler, with participation from a distinguished group of angel investors, including the Oetinger Publishing Group, and other investors including Andreas Peters, former Managing Director at Disney, Felix van de Sande, founder of Kickbase and design agency COBE, and Silvia Sommer, e-commerce expert and organiser of the Fast & Curious events in Munich.

BiMA was born out of a belief that technology should deepen real connections rather than distract from them.

BiMA’s debut product is a screen-free projector that transforms children’s bedrooms into immersive storytelling spaces. Shaped like a collectible rocket, it combines light, sound, and gentle projection to spark imagination and focus, offering an engaging bedtime ritual without screen overstimulation. Unlike existing edutainment products such as Tonies, Yoto Player, or Lunii, BiMA adds a visual sensory layer, blending mindfulness, creativity, and family connection in a nostalgic yet forward-looking experience.

Beyond its first product, BiMA plans to expand into a broader ecosystem of storytelling and mindful entertainment tools. The company focuses on creating experiences that bring families together during the most meaningful time of day, transforming evenings into moments of connection, imagination, and shared wonder.
