Augment, an AI teammate for shippers, brokers, and carriers, led by Harish Abbott, Justin

Hall, and Arthur Rivilis, has raised $85 million Series A led by Redpoint Ventures, with participation from 8VC, Shopify Ventures, Autotech Ventures, and other leading investors in logistics and AI. The new funding will supercharge Augie, the AI teammate for logistics. Already supporting over $35 billion in freight under management (FUM) across dozens of leading shippers and brokerages, Augie is transforming logistics operations from order to cash.

New funding will accelerate Augie’s development, deepen integrations, and scale its reach across the logistics industry. Despite moving trillions of dollars in goods each year, the sector still runs on emails, calls, and fragmented systems that overwhelm operators and squeeze margins. Augie changes this by acting as a true AI teammate, taking ownership of tasks across the entire shipment lifecycle, working seamlessly across teams, systems, and channels. Already managing over $35 billion in freight, Augie is streamlining operations, boosting efficiency, and is now set to expand its impact to millions of logistics operators worldwide.

Augie is being built to manage the entire order-to-cash journey, quoting to billing, tendering to delivery, eliminating silos and handoffs with one AI teammate that understands context and gets the job done. By compiling structured and unstructured data into a dynamic, business-specific knowledge base, Augie adapts in real time to answer complex operational questions. The next phase includes full-stack automation across load building, pricing, tracking, documentation, invoicing, collections, and workflows; AI-native infrastructure for secure, high-speed execution; advanced memory and reasoning tailored to freight; and multimodal capabilities that integrate with the entire freight stack. This is not simple task automation—it’s a new foundation for how logistics work is done: faster, smarter, and with less overhead.
