Alpic AI, an all-in-one cloud platform providing the infrastructure and tools to turn your product into an AI-native experience, led by Charles Sonigo, Pierre-Louis Theron, Frédéric Barthelet, Nikolay Rodionov, and Erica Beavers, has announced $6 million pre-seed round led by Partech and supported by K5 Global, Irregular Expression, Yellow, Drysdale, Kima Ventures, and Galion.exe, as well as prominent founders in the AI and dev tool space from companies like Mistral, Datadog, and Dataiku.

As AI shifts from generating text to taking action, a new user persona is emerging: the agent. Enabled by the Model Context Protocol (MCP), now adopted by all major AI players, agents can securely connect to external services, booking travel, updating CRMs, or managing SaaS tools, without relying on clunky workarounds. Human-facing UIs are giving way to interfaces built for agents.

Just as streaming required a new delivery model, the rise of AI agents demands a new foundation. Having previously built Streamroot to support the shift from broadcast to streaming, the team behind Alpic brings that experience to agents. Alpic provides purpose-built infrastructure that enables developers to deploy and manage MCP servers in minutes, with integrated security, analytics, and tooling. The platform reduces operational complexity and accelerates the path to production for agent-accessible services.
