Led by Neil D’Souza(Founder and CEO), Fabian Hassel(VP Services), Milan Cvejic(VP Engineering), Julian Weitz(Chief Revenue Officer), and Michael Portelli Madden(Head of Operations), Makersite Raised €60 Million in Series B co-led by Lightrock and Partech, and joined by SE Ventures. All of Makersite’s Series A investors – including Hitachi Ventures, KOMPAS VC, Translink Capital, and Planet A – participated in the round.

The funding will allow Makersite to strengthen its customer offering and scale its technology and team to meet rising demand from manufacturers aiming to make informed, sustainable decisions during product design.

Makersite’s AI-powered platform helps manufacturers clean and structure fragmented product data, combining it with a rich proprietary database covering cost, carbon footprint, compliance, and more. This enables real-time analysis of design and procurement decisions, integrated with tools like Siemens Teamcenter and Autodesk. Used by companies like Microsoft and Schneider Electric, Makersite supports safer, more sustainable, and compliant product development.

Rising competition and pressure to cut emissions are driving demand for solutions like Makersite. With manufacturing accounting for ~19% of global emissions, companies face growing regulatory and stakeholder expectations. Manufacturers are turning to platforms like Makersite to meet sustainability standards, improve supply chain resilience, and reduce risk.
