Aeva Forms Strategic Collaboration with LG Innotek to Bring Next-Generation Perception Platform to Market

Aeva, developer of perception and sensing and perception systems for autonomous processes, led by Soroush Salehian(Chief Executive Officer), Mina Rezk(President and Chief Technology Officer), and Saurabh Sinha(Chief Financial Officer), announced a strategic partnership with LG Innotek including a strategic investment by LG Innotek of up to approximately $50 million comprising the anticipated equity stake in Aeva, non-dilutive investment for new product development, and capital investments to bring production capacity online for Aeva’s next generation products.

This collaboration will help Aeva accelerate the commercialization of its breakthrough FMCW perception platform across automotive, industrial automation, robotics, and consumer devices.

Aeva and LG Innotek have partnered to accelerate the adoption of Aeva’s FMCW perception platform across key sectors. The collaboration starts with automotive, where LG Innotek will manufacture Aeva’s 4D LiDAR for a top global OEM. The partnership will expand into industrial automation, robotics, and consumer devices—combining Aeva’s lidar-on-chip technology with LG Innotek’s global scale and expertise to develop next-generation sensing solutions for real-time interaction with the physical world.
