Xbattery, manufacturer of BMS electronics for EVs and energy storage, led by Satish Reddy, Sonu Mishra, and Varshith Veeramaneni, has raised $2.3 million led by Bipin Patel Family Office with participation from Jhaveri Credits.

The funding will fuel R&D, hardware sourcing, talent expansion, and prototype scaling toward early orders and commercialization.

Xbattery is advancing India’s clean energy and EV goals by reducing reliance on costly foreign BMS technology. Its “Made in India” unified, adaptable BMS enhances safety, efficiency, and longevity across EVs and stationary storage.

India generates 40% of its power from renewables today and targets 50% by 2030, adding 500 GW of clean energy. But with renewables being intermittent, storage is essential, creating a $12–15 billion market across grid batteries, EVs, and UPS systems. Xbattery addresses this need with BharatBMS, a locally built, unified BMS platform for EVs and energy storage that enhances safety, performance, and durability while being tailored to India’s unique requirements.

The new capital will accelerate BMS and BESS R&D, secure specialized hardware, expand engineering and production teams, and scale prototype output to meet rising demand.

As India accelerates EV adoption and renewable storage, demand for robust, homegrown BMS solutions is set to surge. Xbattery aims to first capture the domestic market before expanding to Europe and North America.
