TrustNXT, a computer vision and cybersecurity start-up, a spin-off of leading image processing specialist Basler AG, led by Sebastian Adank, Ariane Scheer-Danielsson, and Andreas Reich, has secured €1.6 million in pre-seed financing from D11Z.Ventures GmbH & Co. KG and HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds.
The funding will accelerate the scaling of a deep tech solution that safeguards images and videos in security-critical B2B applications against AI-driven manipulation and cyberattacks, addressing a rapidly expanding market vital to industry, insurers, and public safety.
TrustNXT is building a software platform that safeguards visual data by combining cryptography, computer vision, and patented trust technology. The solution ensures authenticity, prevents manipulation, and guarantees the reliability and integrity of images and videos in critical business processes.
TrustNXT’s insurance solution tackles the challenge of manipulated damage photos, enabling fully automated claims and underwriting processes without human intervention. Insurers gain protection against image fraud while significantly reducing processing times and improving cost efficiency and scalability.
TrustNXT will use the funding to advance its technology with a focus on tamper-proof, real-time protection of video data for industrial applications, with the first pilot projects scheduled for 2026.
