Talentguide, the Ghent-based HR-tech company, led by Filip Tack, Beatrice Toussaint, Judith Straetemans, Bhanu Angam, Maryna Soufi, and Evelien Tanghe, has raised €1.3 million in fresh capital from  NXT II, Travvant (Partena Professional), Miles Ahead Capitalimec.istart, and the founders, entrepreneurs such as Ewout Meyns (PieSync), Koen Handekyn (Allcrux, Nabu), and Jan Delaere (Delaware), also participated in the funding round.

Talentguide enables smarter, data-driven competence management across HR, from development and performance to workforce planning. Its AI-powered SaaS platform delivers skills intelligence that helps organizations turn ambitions into measurable, future-ready competencies.

By 2030, a global $8 trillion talent gap could leave 85M+ roles unfilled. Companies struggle to track and develop skills, especially among blue-collar workers, while automation accelerates change, slowing upskilling, workforce planning, and retention.

Talentguide helps medium and large enterprises accelerate upskilling and reskilling through its AI-driven SaaS platform. By analyzing unstructured company data, CVs, job descriptions, evaluations, and workflows, it generates a skills-based job architecture, assesses current employee competencies, predicts future skill needs, and provides AI-generated personal development plans. Companies including Travvant, MCC Verstraete, Banqup, Robovision, mtech+, and Syntra Bizz already use TalentGuide to plan and grow their workforce efficiently.

“Too many HR decisions still rely on intuition. Talentguide uses data and AI to provide an objective view of workforce skills, enabling more targeted training and promotions,” says Miel Kurris of NXT II fund.
