SylloTips, an innovative seed-stage startup supported by Techstars, pioneering the first human-in-the-loop AI platform for automating employee support, led by Giorgio Barnabò, Leonardo Martini, Tullio Persiani, and Simone Silvestri, has secured a €4.2 million seed round led by Azimut through its Azimut Eltif – Venture Capital ALIcrowd III and IV funds managed by Azimut Libera Impresa SGR, saw participation from existing investors The Techshop, Techstars, and Cloud Accelerator, and welcomed Leo Capital alongside several notable business angels.
Backed by clients like EOLO, COIMA, and Leonardo Assicurazioni, Rome-based SylloTips has turned every pilot into production, earning awards from SMAU and Harvard Innovation Labs.
MIT calls it the “GenAI divide”: while adoption is widespread, only 5% of pilots deliver measurable returns. The real barrier isn’t model power, but the learning gap, AI systems that can’t adapt to context, retain feedback, or integrate with workflows.
SylloTips bridges this gap with AI agents embedded in Microsoft Teams. Following a human-in-the-loop model, agents escalate to subject matter experts when confidence is low. Their interventions are learned and consolidated into a governed memory, turning company knowledge into an evolving, reliable asset. The result: enterprise-ready AI that explains decisions, respects policies, and improves with use, already driving impact in call centers, field operations, and sales enablement.
An official Microsoft partner and Azure Marketplace provider, SylloTips integrates with platforms like Salesforce, SAP, and ServiceNow to avoid silos and ease adoption. With new backing, the company is expanding its agent modules, integrations, and go-to-market in telecom, insurance, banking, and defense, supported by a strengthened leadership team including senior executives from Microsoft, Oracle, and Vodafone.
