Sycamore, the trusted agent operating system for the enterprise, led by
Sri Viswanath, has announced a $65 million seed round led by Coatue and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with additional participation from Abstract Ventures, Dell Technologies Capital, 8VC, Fellows Fund, and E14 Fund.
AI agents are emerging as the next major platform shift in enterprise computing. While models can reason and act, enterprise infrastructure for safe, scalable deployment remains limited. Sycamore is addressing this gap, partnering with Fortune 500 companies to implement autonomous AI agents.
The Agent Operating System
Sycamore delivers a full lifecycle platform for enterprise AI: discover, build, deploy, observe, and evolve.
Trust by design: Agents earn autonomy through proven reliability, with all operations isolated, auditable, and governed.
Adaptive system generation: Natural language intent is transformed into production-ready systems, including applications, integrations, and agents, tailored to enterprise environments.
Continuous improvement: Agents learn from outcomes, enhancing performance while capturing institutional knowledge.
Collective intelligence: Organizational knowledge is surfaced, connecting data, workflows, and expertise to enable coordinated multi-agent execution.
“Sri is one of the few founders to have built enterprise platforms at a true global scale. Sycamore sits at the intersection of AI adoption and agent security, and we believe this team is uniquely positioned to define the category,” said Raviraj Jain, Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners.
“AI agents are on every boardroom agenda, but the supporting platform isn’t there yet. Enterprises need a trust and governance layer before autonomy can scale. This is a Big F Idea at Coatue, and Sycamore is that foundational platform,” said Thomas Laffont, Co-founder of Coatue.
“Current enterprise systems are built for humans. The next generation will be autonomous, continuously learning, and adaptive. Sycamore is building the operating system for that future, grounded in trust, security, and control,” said Sri Viswanath, Founder and CEO of Sycamore.
