Skyfall AI Announces Its Launch to Build the First Autonomous Enterprise

Skyfall AI, a neolab building systems for the first autonomous enterprise led by Sam Pasupalak, Kaheer Suleman, and Sumit Pasupalak, has emerged from stealth with an undisclosed amount of funding from Fidelity, Inovia Capital, Touring Capital, M13, NextView Ventures, and Garage Capital.


Skyfall was founded by the team behind Maluuba, the deep learning research lab acquired by Microsoft in 2017. The company aims to move beyond the limitations of today's Large Language Models (LLMs) by developing Enterprise World Models capable of powering fully autonomous enterprises.


As its first initiative, Skyfall is acquiring a small SaaS business to serve as a real-world testing ground for its AI products, enabling the company to develop and validate autonomous enterprise systems in production environments.


While today's AI models excel at generating text, they remain fundamentally limited in their understanding of how businesses operate. Current Large Language Models (LLMs) lack the "world model" needed to simulate the complex, cause-and-effect relationships that shape real-world organizations.


Enterprise decision-making requires reasoning under uncertainty, balancing financial, operational, and human factors over long time horizons. Existing AI systems, which primarily predict the next token, struggle to model these non-linear interactions and the cascading impact of strategic decisions. Skyfall believes achieving true enterprise autonomy will require AI systems capable of forecasting the future state of an organization, rather than simply generating the next response.

Skyfall's Mission: Building the First Enterprise Superintelligence.


Skyfall is developing what it describes as the first Enterprise World Model, an AI system designed to simulate thousands of potential business decisions and their long-term outcomes. Rather than relying solely on text prediction, the company is building models capable of recursively simulating business operations by integrating financial data, operational systems, and enterprise APIs to forecast future organizational states.

Skyfall Seeks to Acquire a SaaS Startup for an Autonomous Enterprise Experiment.


As part of its effort to build a fully autonomous enterprise, Skyfall is inviting founders to submit small SaaS businesses for acquisition, with a purchase budget of up to $1 million. The acquired company will serve as a real-world test environment for evaluating whether an AI system can operate and scale a digital business with minimal human intervention, while identifying operational limitations and failure scenarios.


The company aims to double the acquired business's revenue within six months while minimizing human involvement. Human oversight will be limited to activities such as executing acquisition documents, deploying the initial AI systems, establishing banking and payment infrastructure, and fulfilling tax and regulatory obligations.


Skyfall plans to publish regular updates and research findings throughout the experiment, providing insights into the progress, challenges, and capabilities of AI-driven business operations.


Business owners interested in participating can submit their companies for consideration through Skyfall's acquisition program.


Product Roadmap: From AI Research to Enterprise Applications.


Skyfall has also introduced its first product, Morpheus, a continual reinforcement learning platform built for AI researchers. The platform is designed to model complex, non-stationary environments, beginning with inbound and outbound warehouse management, enabling AI agents to learn and adapt without explicit task labels or predefined training curricula.


Unlike conventional reinforcement learning platforms that depend on frequent environment resets or discrete task changes, Morpheus features persistent enterprise environments where actions accumulate over time and influence future outcomes. The platform also serves as the foundation for Skyfall's internal research, supporting the development of the company's Enterprise World Models.


Looking ahead, Skyfall plans to expand its product portfolio with an agentic enterprise suite aimed at automating a wide range of operational tasks for CEOs and entrepreneurs. The upcoming products are intended to translate the company's AI research into practical tools for business decision-making and enterprise operations.


Founding Team Brings Deep AI Research and Commercialization Experience.


Skyfall was founded by Sam Pasupalak (CEO), Kaheer Suleman (CTO),  and Sumit Pasupalak (CPO). Sam Pasupalak and Kaheer Suleman previously co-founded Maluuba, the AI research lab acquired by Microsoft in 2017 for approximately $160 million. Following the acquisition, Maluuba became part of Microsoft AI in Canada, where the team contributed to the development and deployment of AI technologies across Microsoft's products and services.


Today, Skyfall has assembled a team of 25 AI researchers and engineers from organizations including Microsoft AI, the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, the University of Alberta and Mila – Quebec AI Institute.
