SiMa.ai, scaling physical AI, led by Krishna Rangasayee and the team, announced $150 million in Series C financing, bringing the total capital raised to $500 million and valuing the company at $1.45 billion. The round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify, with participation from Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, Maverick Capital, +ND Capital, Point72, and StepStone Group. AllianceBernstein, Baron Capital, J.P. Morgan, and the State of Michigan also joined the round as new investors.

The Physical AI market, spanning robotics, automotive, and drones, is projected to reach 145 million cumulative shipments by 2035, according to Counterpoint Research. The growth reflects AI’s expansion from software into physical systems across consumer and industrial applications. SiMa.ai provides a full-stack Physical AI platform combining purpose-built silicon and software to simplify deployments that traditionally rely on complex, power-intensive GPUs.

“Physical AI in humanoids, automotive, and drones is the gateway to a $50 trillion market that has remained largely untouched by modern innovation,” said Krishna Rangasayee, Founder and CEO at SiMa.ai. “While others are still figuring out the pieces or repurposing their cloud offerings, we’ve built the entire puzzle. This investment will further catapult us into a dominant position, giving us the resources to scale our purpose-built platform and secure an undeniable lead in the Physical AI race.”

The new capital will support the expansion of Palette Neat, SiMa.ai’s agentic software environment for Physical AI, and fund next-generation hardware targeting 1,000 dense TOPS of compute. Planned for H1 2028, the portfolio will include machine learning IP, chiplets, and SoCs for applications spanning drones, humanoid robotics, automotive ADAS, and AI-powered cockpits.

SiMa.ai is also expanding globally, with revenue growth accelerating between 2024 and 2025 and continued momentum in 2026. Its customer and partner network includes companies such as Bosch, Emerson, Micron, Synopsys, TRUMPF, and L&T Technology Services.

Investor Quotes:

“Since our initial partnership with SiMa.ai from day one, we have believed its vision was both clear and transformative: to build a fundamentally new architecture for Physical AI where software dictates the silicon. SiMa.ai has consistently proven its ability to out-innovate and out-execute the rest of the market, dramatically reducing the complexity of deploying advanced AI models on physical edge devices, and accelerating time to market for the world’s most sophisticated autonomous systems. We believe SiMa.ai has all the ingredients to become a category-defining, iconic technology company.”

Mike Dauber, General Partner, Amplify Partners

“One of our core priorities at Dell Tech Capital is to back foundational technologies that bridge the gap between the data center and the far edge. As enterprise intelligence migrates into the physical world, it’s been challenged by the tradeoff between performance and power. SiMa.ai is shattering that barrier. Its platform delivers the software agility and Physical AI-optimized compute that modern enterprises require to scale computer vision and autonomous capabilities. As investors, we view SiMa.ai as a critical silicon provider and enabler for the next evolution of distributed Physical AI infrastructure.”

Scott Darling, President and Managing Director, Dell Technologies Capital

“Truly scaling physical AI requires more than just raw compute. It demands incredible power efficiency and seamless integration into highly constrained environments. SiMa.ai has created a differentiated, purpose-built Physical AI platform that answers the rigorous demands of real-world applications. We are thrilled to partner with Krishna and the entire team as they accelerate their commercial execution and raise the bar to empower the next generation of robotics, drones, autonomous systems, and advanced industrial technology.”
