Saviynt, securing over 100 million identities at global leaders, led by Sachin Nayyar, Paul Zolfaghari, Shankar Ganapathy, Ajay Garg, Jeff Margolies, Atul Vij, Akshay Sivananda, and others, has secured a $700M Series B Growth Equity Financing at a valuation of approximately $3 billion led by Funds managed by KKR, with participation from Sixth Street Growth and TenEleven, as well as new funding from existing Series A investor Carrick Capital Partners.

The multi-firm investment reflects a strong shared conviction that identity management is the foundational infrastructure for enterprises deploying AI at scale.

Saviynt’s AI-powered platform manages, secures, and governs access for human identities, non-human service accounts, and AI agents across an organization’s applications, data, and infrastructure. By unifying identity governance and administration (IGA), privileged access management (PAM), application access governance (AAG), identity security posture management (ISPM), and access gateways under a single architecture, Saviynt streamlines compliance, strengthens security, and increases operational efficiency for companies, accelerating their shift to cloud and AI-driven environments.

As enterprises adopt copilots, autonomous agents, MCP servers, and AI-driven workflows, the need for an intelligent Identity Security platform that can manage posture, lifecycle, access, and privilege across non-human identities, and their interactions with human users, has become foundational.

“This is a defining moment for Saviynt and the industry,” said Sachin Nayyar, Founder & CEO of Saviynt. “The demand for secure, governed identity has never been greater, and this growth investment gives us the resources to meet it head-on. We chose to strategically partner with KKR and Sixth Street because they understand how central identity has become to enterprise AI strategies, and they have long track records of helping category leaders scale globally. We’re excited to work with them to accelerate innovation and bring identity security to every organization operating in the AI era.”

Legacy identity and access management systems were built for human users and predictable, static access patterns. Modern enterprises, however, must now govern a far more complex identity landscape, including:

  • Employees and contractors

  • Machine identities and cloud workloads

  • Service accounts, certificates, keys, and secrets

  • Partners, vendors, and supply chain identities

  • And now, AI agents that operate continuously and make autonomous decisions

AI-generated identities are the fastest-growing identity class, one poised to transform how work, productivity, and operations function across the enterprise.

Identity security provides the essential guardrails that allow AI systems to deliver value while maintaining control and reducing risk. As a result, identity governance has evolved from a compliance requirement into a strategic cornerstone for AI adoption.

“Saviynt has built one of the most advanced and comprehensive identity security platforms in the market, purpose-built for the AI era,” said Ben Pederson, Managing Director at KKR. “The company is redefining how organizations secure their digital ecosystems, and we look forward to partnering with Sachin and the Saviynt team to scale the platform globally, advance next-generation AI capabilities, and leverage KKR’s deep experience in cybersecurity to accelerate growth and innovation.”

Saviynt’s rapid growth reflects the accelerating need to govern human, machine, and AI-agent identities at scale. Key milestones driving this momentum include:

  • Expanding to 600+ global enterprise customers, including over 20% of the Fortune 100

  • Extending its platform with new capabilities for AI Agent Identity Management, Non-Human Identity Management, Privileged Access Management, and Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM)

  • Embedding AI-driven intelligence across the core identity platform, significantly improving efficiency in application onboarding, access certifications, access reviews, and provisioning/deprovisioning

  • Delivering major new integrations with leading ecosystem partners such as AWS, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Wiz, and Cyera

The funding will serve as growth capital to expand and accelerate product development, build new AI-driven tools and methodologies that streamline migrations from legacy systems to Saviynt’s platform, and deepen integrations with hyperscalers, SaaS providers, professional services firms, and value-added resellers.
