Rebalance Backs 10 Visionary Women Founders in Its 9th Accelerator Cohort

Rebalance, a Gurugram-based accelerator to build an ecosystem that helps women and diverse people build wealth and pay it forward, led by Aishwarya Malhi and Vikas Kumar, has announced its 9th cohort of 10 women-led startups.


Since 2019, Rebalance has backed 30 startups across sectors, including climate, deep tech, healthcare, fintech, D2C, and biotech. With 85% of its portfolio led by women founders and 60% of its angel community made up of women investors, a first in India, Rebalance is redefining who funds and builds the future. The accelerator has facilitated over $50 million in follow-on funding.


Here is the list of startups in the 9th Cohort:


1) Summr: Led by Deepika Manjunath & Sudarshan CV, Summr is pioneering science-backed active body care with skin nourishing formulas that don’t just heal but smell sensational.


2) Meine Electric: Led by Priyansh Mohan and Stuti Kakkar, Meine Electric is pioneering low-cost, multi-day energy storage technology through rechargeable Iron-Air batteries, a breakthrough technology redefining what is possible in long-duration energy storage (LDES).


3) Pauz: Led by Anthony Doraiswami and Anadhi Kaul, Pauz is pioneering the ‘reset’ ritual for millennials and Gen Z with a healthier alternative that’s good for your gut.


4) Genoscope: Led by Dr. Shanaya Patel and Dr. Kaustabh Patel, Genoscope is the world’s first saliva-based, non-invasive, companion diagnostic test for predicting therapeutic resistance and relapse in head and neck cancer patients.


5) Nori: Led by Meenakshi Vyas and Rashika Nayak, Nori is a modern luggage and travel brand designed for women, ensuring functionality and organization while bringing out their personality.


6) Finoco: Led by Sanya Abbey, Finoco is a stealth mode company building the financial reasoning layer for institutional finance, an AI-first infrastructure that thinks, acts, and reasons contextually across funds, banks, and CFO offices.


7) Papaya: Led by Shagun Maheshwari, Papaya is a materials company on a mission to re-imagine women’s health and intimate care. 


8) Tzaar: Led by Shtaakhshi Dubey, Tzaar are India’s first plant-powered aers that are a nicotine-free, carbon monoxide-free alternative for those who smoke/vape.


9) Promeat: Led by Pranjuli Garg and Debabrata Das, Promeat is a clean-label brand that makes high-protein alternatives to meat made with soy, peas, mung beans, oats, and wheat.


10) Progen: Led by Prateeka Haldorai and Adithya Subramanian, Progen has developed vegan protein isolates with high functionality from indigenous crops like legumes, rice, lentils, and seeds sourced and manufactured entirely in India.
