Ranger, the agentic revenue operations platform for industrial tendering, led by James Zhan, Sari Saadi, and Kyle Jordan, has emerged from stealth with $8.4 Million in seed funding led by Bonfire Ventures, along with 25madison, Inovia Capital, and Panache Ventures.
The company’s platform connects fragmented systems and manual processes to automate critical workflows across industrial, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
Industry’s Problem: Bureaucratic Bottlenecks Slowing Industrial Progress
Critical infrastructure projects often take years or decades to complete due to fragmented subcontractor networks, outdated manual processes, and heavy bureaucratic complexity.
Projects typically involve dozens of organizations and hundreds of vendors operating across disconnected systems and workflows, creating major coordination costs, delays, and inefficiencies.
“We are entering a once-in-a-century reindustrialization cycle, but the systems supporting critical infrastructure are struggling to keep up,” said Tyler Churchill. “Ranger is building the foundational operating system the industrial sector has been missing, backed by a team with deep operator experience.”
The Solution: The Agentic OS for Industrial Revenue Operations
Ranger replaces fragmented manual workflows with an agentic operating system that automates the full industrial revenue cycle, from complex RFPs and bid evaluation to order processing and remittance.
Rather than solving isolated tasks, the platform connects legal, engineering, and commercial workflows through purpose-built AI agents trained on each organization’s unique processes, expanding team capacity across the entire operation.
“While the world is entering a major reindustrialization cycle, the systems supporting it remain fragmented,” said James Zhan. “Ranger aims to help physical infrastructure projects move with the speed of digital systems, accelerating delivery of critical services like energy and water infrastructure.”
Proven Traction in Industrial Engineering
Ranger was founded by a team with backgrounds across industrial operations, process engineering, enterprise strategy, and B2B revenue systems.
Its platform is already being deployed across major industrial projects with companies including Celeros Flow Technology, Farabi Petrochemicals, MRP Solutions, and PACE Solutions.
“What James Zhan and the Ranger team have built is highly differentiated,” said Steve Woods. “The platform goes beyond parsing industrial RFPs by reasoning through highly technical workflows with the precision needed for real adoption in industrial environments. Unlike generic copilots or legacy RFP tools, Ranger was purpose-built for the complexity of industrial tendering.”
