Co-founded by Jorge del Val(CEO) and Jack Harmer(CTO), Physics-Based Real-Time Generative AI Gaming Platform Latent Technology has raised $8 Million in seed funding co-led by Albion VC & Spark Capital with participation from Root Ventures & Alumni Ventures.

Latent Technology is developing a Generative Physics Animation technology where characters are physics-based and movements are generated by neural networks in real-time. These are trained using deep reinforcement learning and generative modeling techniques.

Latent Technology is working to re-invent how virtual worlds work. The immersive physical characters are 1000x faster and respond physically to the environment in real-time, leverage high-level intelligent behaviors, and delegate time-consuming details. They plan to release integration with Unity & Unreal Engine.
