Nuclear Batteries Developer Zeno Power Raises $50 Million, Brings in Former Navy Chief on Board.

Founded by Tyler Bernstein(CEO) & Jonathan Segal in 2018, Zeno Power raised $50 Million Series B led by Hanaco Ventures with participation from Seraphim, Balerion Space Ventures, JAWS, Vanderbilt University, RiverPark Ventures, Stage 1 Ventures, 7i Capital, Beyond Earth Ventures, and others. Zeno has secured $60 million contracts from the US Department of Defense & NASA to develop nuclear batteries for maritime & space solutions.
The company has also announced to bring in former Navy Chief Admiral John M Richardson to the company's board as the company plans to demonstrate its first-of-a-kind nuclear battery for maritime applications through a U.S. Department of Defense contract.
