Led by Konstantinos Kyritsis (Co-Founder And CEO), Dimitris Iakovakis, PhD(CTO), Vasileios Papapanagiotou(Senior R&D Engineer), Apostolos Moustaklis(Junior R&D Engineer), Patricia Van Rompuy(Quality & Clinical Trial Head), Gaëtan Garraux, MD, PhD(Clinical Lead Neurology Professor @CHU), Koios Care Secures €1 Million Seed Round led by Evercurious VC, with strong participation from Astylab Ventures, imec.istart fund and several private angel investors, coordinated by HeBAN to Bring AI and Digital Biomarkers to Parkinson's Disease Care and Research.

Koios Care is tackling the global rise of Parkinson’s—now affecting over 10 million people—by turning passive smartphone and smartwatch data into real-time clinical insights. The new funding will accelerate its mission to improve early diagnosis, personalize care, and support therapeutic research while easing the burden on healthcare systems.

Koios Care is gaining momentum with its digital health tool, Parkiwatch, already in use across EU clinics and research institutions. A recent 130-patient study underscores its clinical value, and the new €1M funding will support regulatory clearance, commercialization, and pharma partnerships to scale impact across neurological care.

Koios Care operates a dual model: offering patients and providers a digital tool to improve quality of life while supporting pharma and medtech companies with real-world data for R&D. The company plans to expand into drug-device products and broaden its tech to address conditions like Alzheimer's, narcolepsy, and eating disorders.
