Neo, building real-time protection for the agentic enterprise, led by Nicholas Warner, Shlomi Salem, and Eran Shirazi, has emerged from stealth with $100M in funding from Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Craft Ventures and Merlin Ventures.
Neo was founded by former executives and engineers from SentinelOne, Wiz and Palo Alto Networks. The company's platform provides security operations (SecOps) teams with inventory management, posture intelligence, attribution and policy controls to help secure AI agents, AI-enabled applications, browsers, identities and traditional enterprise software that is increasingly adopting agentic capabilities.
The newly raised capital will be used to expand Neo's engineering and go-to-market teams as enterprises accelerate investments in securing the growing adoption of agentic software across their organizations.
Nick Warner, CEO and Co-Founder of Neo, said:
"Enterprise security was built for a world where software behaved predictably, but that is rapidly changing. AI agents and agentic capabilities are increasingly being embedded into browsers, developer tools, SaaS platforms and traditional enterprise applications, enabling software to reason, take actions, invoke tools and move through workflows using legitimate user permissions.
Neo provides enterprises with a real-time control layer to understand what agentic software is capable of, govern how it behaves and secure its adoption without disrupting business operations."
The rapid adoption of agentic AI is reshaping enterprise environments faster than traditional security programs can adapt. Enterprise attack surfaces are evolving as employees increasingly adopt AI tools while established software vendors integrate agentic capabilities into applications already approved for enterprise use.
As a result, security operations (SecOps) teams are being tasked with securing autonomous software operating within trusted business applications, often without the visibility or policy controls needed to effectively govern its behavior.
According to Gartner, agentic capabilities were present in just 5% of enterprise applications in 2025, a figure projected to rise to 40% by the end of 2026, highlighting the growing need for enterprise security solutions designed for AI-driven software.
Neo addresses this challenge by providing a real-time control layer for evolving software environments. The platform enables SecOps teams to maintain visibility into the applications and tools operating across the enterprise, including those gaining new agentic capabilities. It helps organizations understand changing software behaviors and risks, evaluate security configurations, and enforce policies before potentially harmful activity occurs.
Zane Lackey, General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, said:
"Enterprise software is becoming increasingly agentic, fundamentally changing how applications operate, what they can access, and how work gets done. Employees are rapidly adopting AI agents, while software vendors are integrating agentic capabilities into products already used across enterprises.
Organizations need greater visibility into what this software can do and the ability to govern its behavior in real time. Nick, Shlomi, Eran and the Neo team have previously built category-defining security platforms, and they are well positioned to develop the control layer required for this next generation of enterprise software."
Traditional security architectures were designed for an earlier model of enterprise software, built around deterministic applications, human users and predictable data flows. Agentic systems introduce a fundamentally different security challenge.
These systems can operate autonomously, replicate user behaviors, inherit permissions, chain together multiple tools and move across workflows in ways that may appear legitimate to security solutions designed for previous generations of software.
Securing this new era of enterprise applications requires real-time visibility across both human and non-human activity, attribution that connects actions to the responsible user or AI agent, and granular policy controls embedded within the software layer where agentic activity takes place.
Elliott Robinson, Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, said:
"Agentic AI is creating a new security category as enterprise environments increasingly consist of software capable of reasoning, taking actions, and invoking tools autonomously. Neo combines a clear architectural approach for controlling this emerging software layer with a founding team that has previously built enterprise security platforms at scale.
That combination is important in an increasingly competitive market. While vision is essential, execution will determine the companies that define the next generation of security, and Neo is addressing one of the most complex challenges in agentic security."
The Neo Platform Delivers Five Core Capabilities.
Neoverse-Powered Software Inventory:
Neo provides SecOps teams with a comprehensive inventory of AI agents, AI-enabled applications, plugins, extensions, MCP servers, and traditional software gaining agentic capabilities. The inventory is enriched by Neoverse, Neo’s continuously updated knowledge base of agentic software capabilities, risks and behaviors.
Capability and Risk Intelligence:
The platform helps security teams understand what both agentic and traditional software can access, what actions they can perform, and whether they are configured securely.
Real-Time Attribution:
Neo creates an audit trail for every action, linking activity back to the responsible human user, AI agent, application, or identity.
Granular Software Control:
Organizations can establish identity- and group-based policies governing tool usage, API access, data movement and agentic workflows.
Native Enforcement:
Neo applies security controls directly within the software environment, allowing organizations to block risky activity, prevent malicious model behavior, and redirect out-of-policy prompts without relying on separate enforcement tools.
Michael Robinson, Partner at Craft Ventures, said:
"AI is fundamentally changing how software operates within the enterprise, creating an entirely new set of challenges around control and security. Neo is building the real-time control layer enterprises need to understand, govern and secure agentic software at scale.
Nick, Shlomi and Eran bring together a rare combination of category vision, deep technical expertise and proven execution, positioning the team to help define this emerging market."
Founding Team Brings Deep Cybersecurity and Enterprise Experience.
Neo’s founding team brings extensive experience building and scaling cybersecurity companies and enterprise technology platforms.
CEO and Co-Founder Nick Warner previously designed and built SentinelOne’s go-to-market organization and later served as COO, helping lead the company through its public listing in 2021. He brings more than two decades of cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles at Cylance, McAfee and Forcepoint.
Co-Founder Shlomi Salem previously led detection engineering at SentinelOne for more than a decade and co-led the company’s internal threat research team, where he developed threat actor profiles that became foundational components of SentinelOne’s security platform.
Co-Founder Eran Shirazi previously co-founded customer experience platform EasySend and led large-scale enterprise research and development initiatives following his work with Unit 8200, the Israel Defense Forces’ cybersecurity and intelligence technology unit.
