Morpheus Space, a leading innovator and manufacturer of advanced electric propulsion systems for in-space mobility, led by Kevin Lausten, Daniel Bock, Gabrielle Diemand, and others, announced a new strategic investment by Alpine Space Ventures and the European Investment Fund, with continued support from Lavrock Ventures, Morpheus Ventures, Pallas Ventures, Vsquared Ventures, as well as other new and existing investors.
Morpheus Space will use the funding to expand mass-production capabilities and scale its team, advancing next-generation mobility products. Increased capacity at the Reloaded Facility in Dresden is expected to support customers with reliable, rapidly deployable propulsion systems for large satellite constellations.
CEO Kevin Lausten noted that backing from Alpine Space Ventures, the European Investment Fund, and existing investors will help industrialize the GO-2 electric propulsion system and meet accelerating global demand as the space economy expands.
Bulent Altan of Alpine Space Ventures stated that increasing orbital congestion and intensifying competition in orbit are making maneuverability a strategic requirement, highlighting the need for scalable, cost-efficient propulsion systems suited for dynamic space operations. Morpheus Space is positioned to address a critical bottleneck within the sector.
The company is expanding manufacturing depth and technical capabilities to support the next generation of space missions, with the investment expected to accelerate production scale, product development, and global support for both commercial and government customers.
