Metaforms, a market research platform for agencies, led by Akshat Tyagi and Arjun S, announced a $9 million Series A to expand its AI infrastructure platform and accelerate adoption across the $130 billion global research industry, led by Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia India), with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and Together Fund, bringing Metaforms’ total funding to just over $10 million.
Metaforms will use the funding to grow its team, expand into workflows like report generation and voice-based research, and deepen integrations with platforms such as Decipher, SPSS, and Confirmit.
When pharmaceutical companies need to test preferences—such as pills versus sachets—agencies often spend days translating lengthy questionnaires into code, managing multiple panel providers, and writing validation scripts. Metaforms automates these repetitive, manual tasks with AI agents built to fit into existing research workflows. It enhances—not replaces—research expertise, handling everything from coding surveys to coordinating vendors and flagging data issues. For agencies, this means scaling confidently instead of turning away work.
In just six months, Metaforms has signed four of the world’s top 20 research agencies, including Strat7, and now processes over 1,000 surveys per month. With a 100% expansion rate, agencies are rapidly adopting more AI agents to cut costs and speed up research. By unlocking capacity, Metaforms is helping firms serve both startups and global brands. The company now plans to triple its team and expand into voice research, automated reporting, and multilingual support, with a goal of processing 100,000 surveys annually.
