Lucio, an AI-Powered platform for document review, legal research, and drafting, led by Vasu Aggarwal, Darsan Guruvayurappan, and others, has secured $5 million led by DeVC and HNIs Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, to accelerate Lucio’s mission to continue innovating for the practice-specific needs of lawyers and to take that vision global.
Adopted by over 200 organizations worldwide, from enterprise law firms and in-house teams to boutique practices, Lucio supports more than 3,000 lawyers across nine jurisdictions. Its adoption-first design, paired with breakthroughs in personalization and advanced legal reasoning, has set a new benchmark in AI for law. Lawyers rely on Lucio for drafting, large-scale document review, due diligence, research, and translation, saving an average of 30 hours per lawyer each month.
The $5 million funding will fuel two key priorities for Lucio: expanding its product suite to embed legal AI seamlessly into every interface where lawyers work, and advancing its personalization engine to deliver a deeply tailored, frictionless AI experience for lawyers across jurisdictions.
Fueled by strong adoption and evident market demand, Lucio is preparing its next funding round to scale both its product and go-to-market efforts.
