Limitless Labs Raises $20M Series A to Expand Its Physical AI Foundation Model and Platform for Precision Manufacturing

Limitless Labs, the world’s first Agentic Physical AI platform for CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing) in mechanical manufacturing, led by David Priev, Shahaf Finder, Assaf Peleg, and the team, has raised a $20 million Series A round co-led by Dell Technologies Capital and Square Peg, with participation from Grove Ventures, Meron Capital, and Kinetica.


The AI agent integrates directly into existing CAD/CAM systems, enabling manufacturers to capture, standardize, and scale the expertise of experienced programmers without changing their existing engineering workflows.


Since emerging from stealth, Limitless Labs has expanded from pilot projects to full production deployments with customers including Sandvik and Iscar, as well as manufacturers across aerospace, defense, motorsports, and industrial machinery. The platform has reduced CNC programming time by up to 50% while meeting stringent security requirements through ITAR compliance and deployment support on AWS GovCloud.


As demand for complex, high-precision components continues to rise, manufacturers are grappling with a growing skilled labor shortage. Nearly a quarter of the US manufacturing workforce is aged 55 or older, while 97% of manufacturers identify knowledge retention as a top challenge. With more than 409,000 manufacturing jobs already unfilled, and the gap projected to reach 1.9 million by 2033, the production of critical aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial parts still relies heavily on manual programming and decades of specialized expertise.


Limitless Labs is building AI to help manufacturers capture and scale the expertise of experienced machinists rather than replace them. By integrating directly into existing CAD/CAM systems, the platform helps standardize best practices, reduce programming bottlenecks, and enable engineering teams to apply institutional knowledge across every new part and engineer, while keeping humans in control of the process.


At the core of Limitless Labs' platform is a Physical AI Foundation Model trained on the physics of metal cutting, CAD geometry, and real-world manufacturing constraints rather than text or code. The model powers the company's CAM Agent, which integrates with platforms such as Mastercam, NX, and Creo to identify part features, recommend tooling, sequence operations, generate toolpaths, and produce shop-floor-ready programs. By automating much of the CNC programming workflow while keeping engineers in control, the platform can reduce programming time by up to 50%.


Investors believe Limitless Labs is extending enterprise AI beyond digital workflows into precision manufacturing. By combining a manufacturing-specific foundation model with proven production deployments, the company aims to build a foundational AI platform for the next generation of industrial manufacturing.

By combining advanced AI with practical software for factory operations, the company is developing technology that could significantly improve how complex, high-precision industrial components are designed and manufactured.


The new funding will support the expansion of Limitless Labs' U.S. commercial operations, further development of its Physical AI Foundation Model toward closed-loop CNC automation, and continued enhancement of its CAM Agent for AI-assisted CNC programming. The company also plans to expand its research team in Tel Aviv, nearly double its workforce over the next year, and deepen its presence in the U.S. manufacturing ecosystem.
