inploi, an AI-powered candidate engagement platform, led by Matthew de la Hey and the team, has secured £3m funding in a round led by YFM Equity Partners, alongside support from existing investors.

Following its 2021 pivot to enterprise SaaS, inploi integrates with existing systems to streamline candidate journeys, reduce drop-off, and improve hiring efficiency.

The investment supports growth across product and commercial functions, including expansion of Talent Agents, AI-driven assistants for sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication.

To date, inploi’s white-labelled platform has supported millions of applications across 70,000+ vacancies, serving sectors including hospitality, healthcare, construction, government, and retail. Customers include Compass Group, Wagamama, Gail’s, PureGym, and multiple NHS trusts.

The company has signed 30+ enterprise clients and expanded into the U.S., driven by growing demand for better candidate experiences amid rising application volumes.

“Employers face increasing pressure to hire at scale while delivering a better candidate experience,” said Matthew de la Hey, co-founder and CEO of inploi. “The platform demonstrates a more efficient approach to recruitment, with growing demand from organisations seeking smarter hiring solutions. Backing from YFM Equity Partners enables accelerated growth, continued product investment, and international expansion.”

By reducing manual workload and enabling personalised engagement at scale, the technology allows talent teams to focus on higher-value interactions and improved hiring outcomes.

“inploi is addressing a clear and growing challenge for enterprise employers,” said Roshan Puri, Partner at YFM Equity Partners. “The product demonstrates strong ROI and momentum across the UK and U.S., supporting continued scale-up.”
