TetraxAI, an AI-powered B2B SaaS platform transforming due diligence and risk management in clean-energy infrastructure, led by Marta Vizcaíno Martín, Arnau Tibau Puig, PhD, and Ekaterina Filina, has announced the closing of its pre-seed round of €1.2 million, led by The Footprint Firm, with participation from Norrsken Evolve and Carbon13, taking the total funding raised to date to €1.5 million, including non-dilutive funding from NEOTEC, Spain’s national deep-tech prestigious grant programme funded by the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI).

TetraxAI automates clean-energy project due diligence by combining AI document analysis, regulatory intelligence, and structured project data. It helps developers and investors identify risks up to 100× faster and at much lower cost, reducing weeks of manual review to hours while matching or exceeding the quality of traditional advisors.

Marta Vizcaíno Martín said the funding is a major milestone for TetraxAI, bringing in partners with deep climate and commercial expertise. The capital will help scale the product, expand globally, and support clean-energy decision-makers at the speed required for the energy transition.

Founded in 2024, TetraxAI was created after CEO Marta Vizcaíno Martín, an energy M&A lawyer with 20+ years and 90+ deals, experienced how slow and manual clean-energy due diligence was. She built a founding team with CTO Arnau Tibau Puig, former lead of Walmart’s algorithmic pricing systems, and COO Ekaterina Filina, who launched Amazon Flex across Europe and Asia. Together, the team blends deep energy domain expertise, large-scale AI capability, and strong execution to modernize clean-energy risk management and due diligence.

TetraxAI is building a software layer for renewable energy development and M&A, helping teams move faster across solar, wind, BESS, and biogas projects. Its flagship product, TetraxVerify, uses AI to analyze thousands of documents in project data rooms, automating legal, regulatory, and land-use risk assessments for developers, investors, lawyers, and insurers.

The new funding will be used to expand the ML and engineering teams, deepen coverage across European energy markets, and accelerate adoption among developers, investors, and asset managers, with strategic backing from climate-focused investors.
