Hemi Health, specialists in headache, migraine, concussion, and whiplash, led by Benedicte Grytte Dahl, Sune K-Holm Nielsen, Anna Løfqvist, and Mathias Iversen, has raised €4 million in a seed funding round led by EIFO and Swiss Health Ventures, with continued backing from Sondo Capital, Alliance Venture Capital, and Crowberry Capital.
Hemi Health has treated more than 1,000 people in Denmark for migraine, headache, and concussion using a structured multidisciplinary model. Initially focused on migraine and headache care, the company expanded into concussion treatment earlier than planned due to strong demand.
Benedicte Grytte Dahl of Hemi Health welcomed investors EIFO and SHV, highlighting their healthcare expertise.
Claudia Maria Colciago of EIFO said Hemi Health is developing a coordinated care model that addresses root causes of migraine and post-concussion conditions rather than only symptoms, expressing confidence in the team’s potential.
“Living with migraine myself, I understand how exhausting complex care pathways can be,” says Anna Løfqvist, co-founder of Hemi Health. Across neurological conditions, people often face the same challenge, navigating care without clarity or continuity. Hemi was built to meet people where they are and provide the structure, coordination, and measurable progress needed to help them move forward and return to everyday life.”
Scaling a Model That Already Works
Hemi Health will use the new capital to expand beyond Denmark, with the Netherlands set as its first international market. The company sees strong alignment with insurance-driven healthcare systems, where structured, outcome-oriented care pathways are in growing demand.
Alongside international expansion, Hemi Health will continue strengthening and scaling its operations in Denmark.
Strengthening the Digital Treatment Platform
A significant share of the investment will fund further development of Hemi Health’s proprietary digital platform, which enables structured diagnostics, personalized treatment plans, continuous monitoring, and coordinated care delivery.
“The possibilities AI brings to complex care are substantial,” said CTO and co-founder Mathias Buch Iversen. “When applied correctly, fragmented multi-year care journeys can become structured programmes with clear progression and measurable outcomes.”
