Guardio, protecting your entire digital world by securing every account and interaction, led by Amos Peled, Michael Vainshtein, Daniel Sirota, Meital Baruch, Sharon Cohen, and others, has raised $80 million in a funding round led by ION Crossover Partners, with participation from existing investors, including Union Tech Ventures, Vintage Investment Partners, and Emerge. The funding follows Guardio’s recent partnership with Lovable, the fast-growing AI software company, to embed its detection engine into Lovable’s GenAI chain. Every new site on Lovable is now automatically scanned, showcasing Guardio’s ability to protect against threats at AI speed and scale.
Guardio’s mission is to empower everyone to take control of their digital safety. Believing cybersecurity should be simple, accessible, and affordable, Guardio makes it intuitive and actionable. This funding round will further support that mission.
With personal cyber protection largely unchanged for over a decade, consumers are losing billions to scams, $12.5 billion in 2024 alone, driven by AI-powered attacks targeting 73% of Americans. Outdated tools leave users unprotected in today’s AI-driven web.
The new funding will accelerate Guardio’s product innovation, enhance its detection engine, expand consumer visibility, and develop new AI-focused protection layers. It will also support global go-to-market efforts, strategic partnerships, and potential acquisitions to scale Guardio’s consumer cybersecurity impact.
Guardio’s next-generation detection engine protects users from threats ranging from phishing to AI-generated scams, outperforming traditional tools. It is also building a visibility layer, bringing enterprise-grade capabilities, like DLP and SaaS Security Posture Management, to individuals at an affordable price. Features include securing sensitive documents, mapping unsecured accounts, and hardening social media settings. The funding will accelerate the rollout of these enterprise-level protection and remediation tools for everyday users.
Amos Peled, CEO and Co-Founder of Guardio, said: “Cybersecurity investment has long focused on companies, leaving consumers exposed to AI-driven scams and large-scale, deceptive attacks. Guardio closes this gap, giving individuals enterprise-level protection and redefining safety in the AI age.”
