Ema, building agentic AI Employees for HR, IT, and Finance, led by Surojit Chatterjee and the team, has raised $77 million in Series B, led by Creaegis, with Accel, S32, and Prosus all increasing their existing investments in Ema. The round brings the total funding to $140 million, and more than quadruples the valuation from the previous round.

"Our customers are not running experiments; they are running their HR, IT, and Finance operations on AI Employees at a scale of millions of interactions a year. Very few agentic AI companies have achieved this,” said Surojit Chatterjee, Ema’s CEO and Founder.

“Enterprises do not need more software. They need outcomes. Our latest funding round will help us drive agentic business transformation at enterprises still stuck in the pilot purgatory. That last point is the real story here. Most of the enterprise AI market is still stuck in pilots — proofs of concept that impress in a demo and stall before production. Ema's AI Employees are already past that stage, running inside some of the largest organizations in the world, at a scale most agentic AI companies haven't reached. At Wipro, Ema powers an employee assistant supporting more than 240,000 associates across 65 countries. It automates 100+ workflows and handles approximately 2.9 million employee queries a year. Response times have dropped from days to seconds. Through all this, employee satisfaction has gone up 20%.

"Many agentic AI companies have compelling demos, but few have proven they can deliver in production at enterprise scale," said Prakash Parthasarathy, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Creaegis.

“Ema stands apart. Its platform already supports millions of employee interactions at some of the world's largest organizations, delivering measurable outcomes with the governance enterprises require. Just as compelling is the strength of the underlying business: Ema has built a scalable product platform with exceptional economics, not a services model dependent on bespoke implementations.”

Many enterprise AI deployments still resemble services businesses, with bespoke implementations and teams of consultants required for each customer.

Ema takes a product-led approach, allowing enterprises to deploy and expand AI Employees without a services-heavy implementation at every stage. Organizations can start with one function and expand across HR, IT, and Finance on the same platform, with a unified AI Employee experience.

Ema’s Agentic Platform.

Ema’s agentic harness enables conversational workflow automation, building a context graph of an organization’s processes that becomes more capable with each deployment.

The platform combines outputs from more than 100 LLMs, optimized for common enterprise use cases, to improve accuracy and reduce costs compared with relying on a single model. Enterprise-grade security and governance are built into the platform from the outset.

Ema has deployed agentic workflows across Fortune 500 enterprises, with revenue growing 50× over 24 months. The company reports a time-to-value of under two months, more than 95% accuracy at scale, and average customer spending reaching 2× the initial contract value within 12 months.

New funding will support go-to-market expansion and entry into APAC and EMEA.
