Elva, redefining the future of global mobility, led by Antonia Eneh, Mengyang Chen, Zechen Ma, Elias Lankinen, and the team, has raised €1.3M in pre-seed funding led by Lifeline Ventures, with participation from Tiny VC, Wave Ventures, and First Fellow Partners, as well as angel investors including Slack co-founder Cal Henderson.

European startups increasingly hire globally, but cross-border relocation remains complex. Elva has launched a platform designed to simplify the process.

Relocating employees across Europe remains highly fragmented, with each country operating different systems for registrations, taxes, banking, and housing. Much of the process is still handled manually, creating friction for companies competing globally for talent.

Elva aims to remove the complexity of employee relocation, allowing companies to focus on hiring top talent while ensuring new hires can start smoothly. By combining AI with expert support, the platform automates the relocation process, from work permits to housing and banking, within a single digital workflow.

The idea for Elva emerged while the founders helped startups relocate international hires through their venture and startup networks, repeatedly encountering fragmented information, slow permit processes, and heavy administrative coordination.

Antonia Eneh, co-founder and CEO of Elva, noted that repeated experience helping companies relocate key hires revealed how manual and outdated the process remains. She added that as fast-growing companies compete globally for talent, cross-border hiring in Europe must become significantly smoother to support globally competitive businesses.

Early customers include venture-backed startups hiring internationally from day one, ranging from companies backed by Y Combinator to deep-tech firms seeking highly specialized on-site talent.
