Dutch-Based Cartilage Repair Company Hy2Care Secures Euro 4.5 Million for US Clinical Trial & Commercial Expansion.

Founded by Prof. Marcel Karperien & Dr. Sanne Both as a 'Spin-Off Company' of the Tech Med Centre of the University of Twente, Netherlands, Hy2Care has raised Euro 4.5 Million to prepare for clinical trials of its CartRevive hydrogel implant for cartilage repair.

This round was led by the European Innovation Council and saw participation from the existing shareholders, led by Brightlands Venture Partners, with participation from new investors including LIOF.
