Defense Tech Company Sanlayan Bags Around 21.7 Million Dollars in Series A.

Led by Co-Founders Rohan Gala(CEO), Abhijit Kothawale(COO), and Rahul Vamsidhar(CBO), Indian Defense Tech Company Sanlayan Bags Rs 186 Crore in Series A funding led by investors Ashish Kacholia, Lashit Sanghvi, and Jungle Ventures, with participation from Gemba Capital and Singularity Ventures, along with new investor Shastra VC.
Sanlayan designs and develops advanced electronic systems like radar, electronic warfare solutions, and mission-critical avionics.
The company plans to deploy capital in the development of counter-unmanned aerial systems(CUAS) used to detect and counter unauthorized drones and electronic warfare(EW) systems to target enemy communication and radar systems.
The company has contributed to defense and space projects like upgrades of Jaguar and Sukhoi aircraft, as well as ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1 missions.
In January, the company acquired a majority stake in Dexcel Electronics Design and plans to take large-scale indigestion and upgrade programs.
