Founded by Dr Elad Verbin, Mick Halsband, and Luis Shemtov, Berlin-based Lunar Ventures announces Euro 50 Million Fund II.

Lunar Venture is run by scientists, operators, and technologists possessing deep sectoral knowledge & known for backing Deep Tech startups early in the game, and has made some significant bets like Deepopinion, Deepset, Embucket, Ilof, Wnstn, Semiqon, & others. The Fund II has already started backing innovative startups like Bruin & Lodestar.

Fund II has attracted backing from leading institutions — Isomer Capital, Exor’s Lingotto, the Intesa San Paolo Endowment, and the Grinnell College Endowment. A cohort of tech founders and GPs from top European funds has also joined, demonstrating confidence in Lunar’s approach and the sector’s potential.
