Cast AI, the leading Application Performance Automation platform, led by Yuri Frayman, Leon Kuperman, Laurent Gil, and others, has introduced OMNI Compute, a unified compute control plane that automatically discovers available resources across cloud providers and regions and transparently extends existing Kubernetes clusters to consume them. The company also announced a strategic investment from Pacific Alliance Ventures (PAV), the U.S.-based corporate venture arm of Shinsegae Group, valuing the company at more than $1 Billion.

Cast AI has introduced OMNI Compute, a capability that treats external capacity, including GPUs, as native compute, enabling workloads to run across local or multi-cloud environments without code or configuration changes.

The system supports AI inference and other workloads without cloud lock-in, while giving organizations full control over execution locations to meet compliance and regulatory needs. OMNI Compute applies Cast AI’s optimization engine, including GPU sharing, monitoring, and rightsizing, to ensure consistent, efficient performance as demand scales across regions and providers.

OMNI Compute introduces fungible GPU capacity at the infrastructure layer, freeing workloads from being tied to a single cloud or region. Production workloads can be allocated and executed wherever compute is available, with predictable control over cost and performance.

Oracle is providing GPU capacity to Cast AI customers through OMNI Compute, enabling access to OCI’s high-performance AI infrastructure from any hyperscaler environment. This removes traditional cloud lock-in barriers and expands reach across all Oracle Cloud regions.

For AI platforms operating at scale, OMNI Compute enables multi-cloud GPU provisioning without application changes, ensuring reliable and affordable capacity across regions. This flexibility eliminates GPU shortages, maintains consistent global performance, and reshapes how real-time AI workloads are deployed and operated.

Cast AI continues to scale globally, supported by Shinsegae Group’s investment and a record year that included a Series C round led by G2 Venture Partners and SoftBank Vision Fund 2. The platform is now used by major organizations such as Akamai, BMW, Cisco, FICO, Hugging Face, NielsenIQ, Swisscom, and TGS.

The company has expanded its international footprint with new offices in Bangalore, London, New York, and Tel Aviv, along with subsidiaries across Canada, France, India, Korea, Lithuania, Singapore, and the UK.

Cast AI is recognized as a category-defining automation platform built for modern cloud-first enterprises, with strong global demand and growing adoption across Asia. The platform’s automation and optimization capabilities align with long-term visions for Application Performance Automation.

Samsung Electronics highlights the impact of Cast AI in automating continuous optimization on Amazon EKS, reducing operational overhead while improving efficiency and cost control. OMNI Compute’s unified control plane is viewed as a transformative approach for running AI infrastructure at a global scale.
