Co-Founded by Adi Gelvan(CEO), Jonathan Friedmann(Chief Strategy Officer), Dan Charash(Chairman), Yoav Estion(Chief Technologist),

Dani Voitsechov(VP R&D), Itai Incze(Chief Software Architect), And Rafi Shalom(CTO), Israel-based Chip Startup Speedata has raised $44 Million Series B led by Walden Catalyst Ventures, 83North, Koch Disruptive Technologies, Pitango First, and Viola Ventures, as well as strategic investors, including Lip-Bu Tan, CEO of Intel and managing partner at Walden Catalyst Ventures, and Eyal Waldman, co-founder and former CEO of Mellanox Technologies.

The Special Purpose Analytics Processing Unit(APU) developed by Speedata removes the heavy workload bottleneck in analytics, processing heavy workloads on single servers faster and with less energy. Currently, the APU targets Apache Spark workloads but plans to support every major data analytics platform shortly, aiming to become the default choice for data analytics across every database & analytics platform.

The company will publicly showcase its APU for the first time at Databricks' Data & AI Summit in the second week of June.
