Led by Dr.-Ing. Johannes Fütterer(CEO), Dr. Jan Henrik Ziegeldorf(CTO), Felix Dorner(CFO), Erik Brümmendorf(Head of Partnerships), Aedifion has raised €17 million(approx) in Series B led by Eurazeo. Existing investor Drees & Sommer is significantly increasing its commitment. Berlin-based venture capital fund and Europe’s leading climate VC World Fund, along with BitStone Capital, Family Office Hopp, and Phoenix Contact Innovation Ventures have reaffirmed their commitment as well. MOMENI VenturesBauwens Capital, and LARTIS also remain invested in the company.

Buildings drive 40% of energy use and 36% of emissions in Europe. Aedifion’s AI platform optimizes HVAC operations in real-time, cutting energy, emissions, and costs by up to 40%—while increasing efficiency, compliance, and long-term property value.

Aedifion now manages nearly 500 buildings across 6 million square meters in seven countries, with ARR doubling year over year. Backed by new funding, the company will expand further across Europe, scaling its AI platform from single buildings to entire portfolios.

Aedifion turns buildings into smart energy hubs. Its AI platform optimizes HVAC, solar, and battery systems in real time—cutting costs, and emissions, and boosting energy independence.

Aedifion is developing a generative AI-powered virtual building assistant that gives operators instant, natural language access to building data. By combining traditional systems with LLMs, it simplifies maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting—especially crucial amid rising complexity and labor shortages.
