Founded by Lennert Jansen and Rauf Akdemir, Airweave has raised $6 million in a seed round led by FCVC, with participation from LUX Capital, Y Combinator, Orange Collective, Pioneer Fund, Shay Banon(Founder of Elastic), and a group of phenomenal investors and angels. This funding accelerates Airweave’s mission to equip agents with essential system knowledge and unlock the full potential of the agent economy.
Airweave began as a response to a common pain point: agents were unable to effectively search or comprehend application data, limiting their utility. The initial release revealed the problem’s broader significance across the agent ecosystem. Enabling agents to deeply understand underlying systems is essential to unlocking AI’s true productivity potential.
