Lunar Outpost, the industry leader in commercial space robotics, lunar surface mobility, and in-space infrastructure, led by Justin Cyrus, Forrest Meyen, AJ Gemer, Julian Cyrus, and the team, has announced a $30M Series B led by Industrious Ventures, with participation from Type One Ventures, Eniac Ventures, Promus Ventures, Reliable Equity, and others.
The funding will accelerate production and deployment of the company’s advanced robotics and mobility platforms as it scales the industrial infrastructure needed to support a permanent human presence in space.
Under Jared Isaacman, NASA is accelerating toward permanent space infrastructure through initiatives like the Artemis Moon Base, positioning the coming decade as a defining period for leadership in the global space race.
Justin Cyrus said NASA has established the direction for space infrastructure, while commercial partners are expected to execute it. Lunar Outpost is focused on building the robotic and mobility foundation for a future space economy, with the new funding aimed at accelerating deployment of industrial robotic systems designed to support long-term human expansion beyond Earth.
Lunar Outpost’s oversubscribed Series B follows four years of doubled revenue, major partnerships, and operation of the first commercial rover on the Moon. With eight contracted lunar and cislunar missions and strong execution across government and commercial programs, the funding supports expansion of its growing mission pipeline.
Taylor Sargent said Lunar Outpost has moved from early missions toward scalable, repeatable deployment, demonstrating the ability to operate in extreme space environments while serving growing demand from both government and commercial customers. The company is positioned to build foundational systems for long-term lunar, Martian, and broader space economy operations.
Amid rising demand, Lunar Outpost is expanding its spacecraft fleet and advancing autonomous technologies such as Starweave swarm software and the Stargate Command, Control, and Communications (C3) platform. The company is focused on building core space infrastructure, including power, communications, habitats, and launch systems, through AI-enabled software and hardware.
Lunar Outpost’s technology is supported by major technical and commercial partners, including General Motors, Goodyear, and Leidos, drawing on expertise rooted in the Apollo program era. The company also collaborates with brands such as LEGO and adidas/Juventus FC to broaden awareness of the emerging space economy and its commercial potential.
